is the only place in direct communi

is now sold by license, except Wilmington
and there is no prospect of
their taking any action toward remoViivg

any other crime its sale should he

Children's I>i?y ut l*lsuuli.
Children's Day was observed ail
1'isgah, on Saturday before the fifth i

was in attendance.
The exercises began at 0 o'cloek,1
a. in. The children were formed in|
line with one of the boys bearing a!
white banner at the head of the pro-1
cession, all singing, '-We are Marching
Home ward with the Blessed,"
and marched into the church.
After prayer by the Supt. \V. S.
Cooper and a song bv the choir reci- j
tations of the different classes were i
in order and they all certainly did |
credit to themselves.
Addresses were made by the I ton.
John K. Cooper and Mr. A. L. liewis.
A collection was then taken up]
and the school adjourned for dinner.)
