to the top of the shoulder, aad it some

arm. The stomach is afected with loss
of appetite and sickness; the bowels ia
general are costive, sometime* alternative
with lax; the head is troubled with
pain, accompanied with a dull, heavy
masattoe ia the bark part. There is ge-
•enllr a considerable low of memory,
accompanied with s painful sensation of
having left undone something which ought
to have been dene. A (light, dry cough
i* sometimes an attendant. The patient
complaint of wear -c s and debility; he
ia easily startled, his feet arc cold or burn-
tag. and he complaint of a prickly sensa
tion of the ckia; his spirits are low; sad
ahhouyh he i» satisfied that exercise would
he bemt&ctal to him, yet he can scarcely
aim * up fortitude enough to try it.

veral of the above symptoms attend the
dtacate, but cases have occurred where
few of them existed, yet examination of
the body, after death, has shown the u-
m to have been extensively deranged.
