I tear Friend*: I must offer my
apologies tor addressing the grown
folks. A little ant bears a load that
hides it from view; so may I (with
a graceful bow ami his hand mi his
heart) bear the weight of your pres
euce, dear fathers aud mothers of
our Sunday school. The little mouse
gnawed the hole that net the liou
free. May my little nibbling cut
away the coverings of your hearts,
that they many open with lore and
blessing to your Sunday-school. A
little bird in Africa follows the great
rhinoceros, and not only keeps the
flies away from him, but warns him,
by screams, of the approach of au
eueiuy. May not 1, too, evwa with
my small pecking, do some one good?

Friends! ray address to you shall
not be long! But 1 must state my
subject. I raise iny voice in behalf
of rainy Sunday, aud desire to offer
three reasons why all strong aud
healthy people, great and little folks,
should be at church on a rainy Sun
day.
1st Reason.—Because we expect
our dear Pastor to be tbero. He has
no right to stay sway. Then, I ask,
have tea? He has come hundreds of
miles to tell us of Him who came
from High heaven for us—the Child,
the Man, the Saviour, the Gud,
