Sergeant Joe reported killed at Petersburg, was j desperately wounded and captured but returned two years after tho war, Capt Archibald named for his father, was killed in tho sanguin ary battle of Sharpsburg. He was a graduate of Princeton and a law-' yoi with a brilliant future, though not yet 21. We never recovered his body. How sad thc reflection.
