On Sunday the 22d of December,
DOUGLAS, tho second eldest sin of
Air. aud Mrs T, K. Adams, died after
a short but severe attack of pneumo
nia. Douglas was a bright, i terest
ing boy, with kind, affable disposition
very popular with young associates,
devoted to his parents, and this sud
den and severe tifllictiou has well ni^h
prostrated the heart-broken parents,
who at all times have idolized their
children. The dear littlo boy was laid
to rest Monday in tho Smyrna come
tory, tender and loving hands gently
lowered his body into tho tomb, which
was surrounded by a large number of
sympathizing friends and sorrowing
relatives. Tho funeral exercises were
conducted by liev. W. P. Meadors,
their pastor.
