DEATHS' DOINGS
Died at ber home in Brlghtsville on
Thursday May 30. 1907, at 3 o'clock
after all illness of seven weeks of para
lysis, Mrs. Martha Hubbard wife of the
late M.u tin Hubbard-aged 78 year. She
leaves three cbildrcd-two sons, Henry
and George and one daughter Mrs
Mnry Owens.
She was a whole-soul Methodist and
a member of Boyklti church.
The funeral services were conducted
by her pastor Rev. P. H. lngrabam on
Friday afternoon nt 4 o'clock and the
remains laid to rest in the Hubbard
graveyard.
Died at bis home in this town on Sun
day afternoon June 2, 1907. after a short
illness, Mr. Throop Crosland, a well
known marchant and citizen of our town.
Few knew that he was even sick before
death claimed bim. He was a brother -
in-law of Senator Mclaurin and leaves
a devoted wife several children and two
brothers. Charles and George Crosland.
The funeral services were held at Oak
Ridge Cemetery on Monday afternoon
at 4 o'clock by Rev. Chas A. Jones, of
the Baptist Church the remains laid to
rest under a mound covered with the
rarest of flowers.
