were joined by a young colored mau.
They soon found a covey, and tho two]

and then snouted that ho had been
shot, having received a load in the
back, which no doubt was fired by the
man in the rear, as the young men say

Mr. Ii, I). Ivoy, a clover farmer
of Olio section, has sold his farm
to Mr. Julius Smith of Hebron

N. G., and will niovo up as soon as
ho can sell his prosant property,

On Friday last about noon at
thc homo of Mr. Levina in Smith
ville, Mr. Walker Swott son ot
thc late Rey. Nathan L. Swott,
waa so budly beaten over tho head
by Mr. Duncan Grant, that he
died Saturday night. An inquest

tho Adams cemetery.
