manager of the Excelsior Hard
ware Co's big store, had died sud
denly while busily engaged in pur
chasing goods for bis new store.
When stricken he was taking a list
of some articles in tho collar of Mr.
C. S. McCall's store in company
Avith tho bookkeeper Mr. Palmer
anti Mr. Rogers the salesman.

Mr. Moore was one of the lead
ing men of the town-a member
ind official of the Baptist church,
