He has hud tine luck in orders this season. Mr. J. Glider Cope, now a prosperous farmer of Red Springs, came down Saturday and spent Sunday and Monday with relatives here, Ho is do ing well. Mr. E. Covington of tho Beef Market went to Scotland county Tuesday and purchased 25 head of choice beef cattle for our market. Charley will keep good beef. Mr. James S, Liles of Brights ville was down Saturday. He was just out from a spell of grippe and rheumatism. He is filling orders for cabbage plants that aro line. Rev. T. W. Scruggs who has been spending a week in Wil liamsburg in the interest of the Home Benevolent Life Insurance Association has returned to touch with our merchants.
