The Bennettsville drug com pany's store and contents were burned Monday morning about 5 oclook. The lire was first dis covered about 4:80. It evident ly started on the inside as the watchman passed the store a few moments before and saw no signs. Just how it started no ono will ever know. The building was a wooden one and the Haines spread rapidly and it required skillful work to confine it to the building and prevent what might have been a disastrous conflagration. He roic eil'ofts saved Senator Mc Call's store on one side and the old Jennings residence on the other. The building and stock was valued at about $7,000.
