Died in this town on Friday night, October 16th, 1903, at the residence bf ber niece, Mrs. Frank II. Crosland, after a short illness. Miss Lon Martin-aged about 76 years. She was a native of Balti more, and ber remains were ship ped there Sunday morning accom panied hy Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crosland. On Friday Bog ers was carried to Cheraw whore he died in the 'afternoon. Nisbon was promptly arrested and is now in our jail. Both parties are color ed, and we learn were working on Mr. G. W. Bullards place in Brightsville picking cotton. They were from Cheraw. The fatal diffi culty started in play. After tho Tigers.
