Hin Honor refused tho motion for
now trial and Mr. Gravea was sen
tenced to 2 years on tho ohaingang.
An appeal was taken and a bond
fixed at $500; After which the
Oourt of General Sessions was ad
journed and tho Court of Common
Pleas was called, hut, after His
Honor feelingly stated thai his dear
uiother was very ill and he might
bo oui lcd home any day, it was
thought best by the Bar not to talco
up any cases at this term, but ask

on. Tho,jurors were discharged, a
tow orders were taken and tho April
