SECTION |. Kit teen cents on every
one hundred dollars worth of real and
fiersonal property situate within the lim-,
ts of said town, which tax -mint be paid
on or before the isl day ot January 1992
and on al) taxes not paid by that time a
penalty ol 50 per cent will be added and
collected.
SEC 2. That* twenty-one cents be
levied on every one hundred dollars ol
the assessed value ol all real and per-,
sonal property to pay thc interest on the
bonds issued in aid of the Charleston
Sumter and Northern Railroad, in ac?
cordance with thu Act au horizing thc
same, approved December . 23d 1891;
and the further sum of 5 cents on the
$Lo3 be levied and collected tor the pur
o6se of providing for the sinking tund as
provided by the above Act; which taxes

this ordinance shall be fined five dollars
for each offence, or imprisonod not more
than thirty days at the discretion of
Council or Mayor trying the same. This
ordinance shall not apply to persons
selling not less than a quarter of beef
mutton, goat or pork,

ing, offering for sale, or delivering with
in the corporate limits of said town any
