Reason Why School Districts
Should ljot vote Special Tax;
MR. EDITOR-Please give mc space
to express my views on the special levy
and my reasons why the school districts
should not vote it :
First, they cannot vote it without de.
Irauding somebody. Say a man that
pays tax one hundred dollars worth ol
property, and his neighbor pays tax on
three thousand dollars worth, to vote a
tax on his neighbor to twist money oui
ot him lor his benefit, and claim that he
has not defrauded his neighbor, I have
never been able to see thc point.
Thc best paid man in thc race is thc
teacher, and the hardest worker to gel
up thc extra levy is the teacher, and li c
least taxpayer is the teacher, so it is a
plain case, by whom and why the extra
tax tax is sprung.

Tho object in building then was tc
