A Sad Suicide.
On Mond ry morning last the sad news j
was received that Mr. Thomas Breeden,
a citizen oi Brightsvilleand who until]
a short time ago, has been living in our
town and working.at Mr. Newton's Liv.

lie Breeden, and believing he was going
to die, he began brooding over his con
dition and that oi his children, one of
whom was also very ill in the next room,
and lost bis mind. About 3 o'ctock n

which was his knife and pistol. In an ur.,
guarded moment he tried first the knife,
but after inflicting two ugly wounds]
placed the pistol in his mouth and com?
ploted the terrible act,
