MATTERS POLITICAL.
Tlio campaign of 1908 is over,
and i l?e first primary baa boon
Held. The results of tbat pri
mary are given elsewhere. It is
hardly uecessary for us to go
into detail as to the meetings at
iiiuuej , Betbune, Camden and
the two factories. It is sufficient
to say that they were all well at
tended and the best of order
maintained except at the fac
tory meetings, and there the in
terruptions were entirely good
tmtured. All the oandidates
came through the campaign with
tne best feelings towards their
opponents, aud there are no
heart burnings in the breast of
any of them over the result of
the eleotiou. We congratulate
the winners and condole with
the defeated.
Farmers Uri?n Bally and Picnic

There will be a big Farmers
