We ascertained only a day or so ago that The DeKalb hotel property was sold several weeks ago, Mr. J. Kdgar Poag, the veteran real estate dealer and advertiser having bought it, either for himself, or acting as agent for others. The rumored price paid was rat her stiff, hut the property is 'worth all of it it the new owners convert it into a truly true commercial hotel. The former and present occu pants of the premises have been handicapped in their efforts to give the commercial tourist all the conveniences that they f?'lt they were entitled to because of t he const met ion of I he present buildimr. With more room and a complete reconstruction, Cam den could soon have all kinds of a good commercial hotel. llM. It is with sincere regret tliat we chronicle the death of Mrs. Bessie Tnittrr at the home of her mother, Mrs. M. M. Kirk land here on Friday evening alter a !intf??rin*r illness. The deceased was a woman of charm ing personality a general favorite with those with whom she be came associated. She lost her husband by drown ing a couple of years ajio, and is survived by an a^ed mother, one brother and sister, and two or more small children. To them wo extend sympathy. The remains were interred in the Quaker cemetary on Satur day evening at the 4th inst., at 4 o'clock, the funeral services beinic conducted by Dr. T. M.
