A SET BACK
. We certainly hope that our southern
representatives will succeed in
squashing the attempt to put an import
tax on postash salt. The farmers
are just now beginning to crawl
and are still mere infants in their
line and such a tax will serve only
as a serious "set back" to their further
advancement and to the advancement
of other dependent industries. 1

It looks as though the crop of '

grow out again on the dispensary
grafters is in imminent danger of
being torn out again. The Supreme
Court has reversed the decision of
Judge Pritchard and the disposition

There is no game in existence that

boys become ambitious to excel in

ing more actual work in an hours
game of ball than he would otherwise
do in a day. The word "dope"
is very appropriate and the effect
of baseball on the average person
is like "dope." It makes one forget
everything else for the time being.
This would be alright if one game '
did not call for another and another j
until one feels that he could not
live without it. This is true of f
those who witness the game as well
