went to Franklin's house, where they c

Valentine statad that as he entered

this was evidently inflicted in the

There was no testimony to convict :

Franklin has been kept in the peniiteniiary
until this morning, but

which was discovered at 1:30 o'clock
this morning In the four story plant
of the Observor company Is not under
control at 2:30 and threatens the destruction
of the entire building with

make early mails, were compelled to
flee from the burning building, saving
only their personal effects The loss
cannot be estimated at tins hour but
is fully insured. The tire originated
in a store room on the third floor,
supposedly from rats and matches.
At 2:40 o'clock the fire is under con?
trol. Geo. Wilson, deaf mute lad of
1who was sleeping in the store
room, is missing and is presumed to
have b en burned to death. The loss
will reach $15,(H)0, fully insured .
