Af this afternoon state that Cothran is
now being conveyed to Abbeville

alleged that Palmer was guflty of seduction.
After the suit Cothran had
a personal difficulty with Mr. Widest

Cothran. The two men attempted
to arrest Cothran and in the scuffle
which ensued Cothran shot llolsteln.
According to one of the earlier reports
received here some one cut Cothran in

was not confirmed. Ilolstein was carried
