Saturday was not a day that one
would have selected for making a crosscountry
pleasure trip from Itatesburg
to Wagner, and if it had not been one
of hu-iiiess 11 ? writer would never
have undertaken the journey. line
we are excusable for ever letting; a

.is it had never been our fortune to
have gone that way before. The people
we met were jovial, happy and as
hospitable as could do. From tho

prepare a "special " as we caught thetn
in the act of partaking of the mid-day
meal?and such a dinner it was. To
tell the truth, we didn't know w hether
our newly made friends would make
an assignment as a result of our dining
or not, but we do kiiow that we staid
at that table quite a while nnd when
we left it looked as if it had never been

good people we went on towards our
