Crops in this section have been in
jured by the hot dry wewather.
Many of the men fom here are now
'working at Camp Jackson since their
crops have been layed by.
There was an an enjoyable picnic
at Mr and Mrs J M Spires* on July 4.
A large crowd was there; a fine din
v aer; and plenty of good music and
fencing.
Mrs Lula Glenn and children visit
ed at Mr Charlie Baughman's Sunday
There will be Children's Day exer
cises at Old Bethel church the third
Saturday.
