'here is only one way to cure catrrhal
deafness, and that is by a contitutional
remedy. Catarrhal Deaf

of the mucuos lining of the Eusachian

DISLOYAL ACTS
SHOULD BE REPORTED*. ?
j Charleston, S. C. April 19, 1918.?
I (Special)? It has come to the notice
of this office that many people fail to
report suspicious and disloyal acts or
manifestations of sympathy for theenemy,
because of uncertainty as to""~
the proper official to approach.
it is very important that the Government
should have the assistance
of all citizens in detecting enemy pro ~
paganda or suspicious activities of i;i
dividuals, and you will do a service in
notifyng your frends that any communication
addressed to "Intelligence
Officer, Headquarters Southeastern^
Department, Charleston, S. C." will
receive attention and be transmitted
to the proper official of the Govern- ^
ment for investigation. The names
of informants will not be divulged
and there'need be no fear, on the
part of anybody, of getting into trou
ble in case suspicions prove to be un 7
founded.
Informaton should indicate the is
ture and source of their information ~as
well as the time and place.
FLOUR SALES REDUCED.
All merchants are requested
strictly observe the latest rule r?
ting the sale of flour whereby
50 pounds of flour may be sold to a
person living in rural districts
only 25 pounds to a person livia^
within a corporated town.
It should also be remembered by
both merchants and millers that
can only be sold when an equal z~
mount of flour substitute is sold or
when a miller's certificate is presented
showing that the party desiring
to purchase flour has had
ground within ten days prior to ikz
date he desires to purchase flour an
equal amount of corn meal or grits.
Miller's certificates should only be
issued upon the printed form prepared
and sent out by the government.
Merchants should honor no millers
certificate unless the same is presented
within ten days after it is givea.
