wedding Monday evening in Greensboro,
N. C., of Mrs. Harth's son, Wil
liam Henry Karth, to Miss Velda Bax!
ter. It was a home affair at the j
residence of the bride's step father
and mother, Dr. and Mrs. C. E.
Young, at Glenwood, just out of
Greensboro, and the ceremony at
8:30 o'clock was followed by a reception
for between 200 and 300
friends from the town and the country
neighborhood.
The bride, who was given in marriage
by Dr. Young, was smartWI
dressed in a French brown coat suit

Keenan of this city as best man and(
the ceremony was performed by the
Rev. J. H. Walker, rector of the Epis
copal Church of Greensboro. The
house was elaborately decorated in
sweet peas and carnations in a dainty
pink effect.
Mr. and Mrs. Harth have gone to

1413 Hampton Street. Mr. Harth is
the Columbia city electrician, a position
