The bright little year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Backman of near Sunny South, is- desperately ill with coalitis. Mr. Bennie R. Harman attended the ^ funeral and burial of the late Rev. G. We are informed by the Secretary j that the County Medical Society will hold its next meeting which is their annual meeting in Leesville the third of October and.a good meeting is expected. Mr. C. D. H. Mathias. His sister, Miss Sallie, has already been dismissed. Dr. James W. Kilgo, presiding elder, will be in Lexington next Friday morning to hold a special conference with the board of stewards of the Lexington circuit, at eleven o'clock.
