by boat to Morris Island ancf

new state ^ park for colored on
the Carolina coast, which is, being
advocated as the results of
efforts by numerous leaders in
Charleston.
If finally approved by all interested
parties the park will be
opened at a cost of more than
$600,000. including land purchase
and development, and may
be ready within a year.
