He could not efflret hi because of the indisposition, of Mrs. Erwin, he re turned home, and remained front the 20th of April tothe 2nd of May; believes he went to Charleston with a view to complete the contract in Savannah on the 11th of May, which was the day after the contract was to have been completed.
