James L. Carter, for four years con
nected with the Southern Express
Companv. at points in Florida,
stating that he had resigned and
had volunteered in the quarter-

Mr. Carter reached Camp Jackson
on the 26th of March, and is hard
at work Ha will be pleasantl) re
membered by many relatives and
