wright. Spartanburg, la a' statement
she gave Junb 7th. "I was troubled
a great deal with indlgeatioa and
my whole system was run down.
My appetite was about gene. I was
troubled awfully with nervousness,
and headaches caused me a lot of
suffering. When ! had one of those
bad nervous attacks, I could not
rest at night. The Tanlac quieted
and strengthened my nervee though,
and I soon was eating heartily, and
the indigestion left me in a little
while. Those headaches were re
lieved quickly, too. In a short time
I was feeling a great deal better. 1
am glad to endorse Tanlac, for it
helped me In every way."

Save all Hens For a
Sake of Eggs
The Department of Agriculture Is
now opening a campaign urging
fanners to refrain from selling hens
from the first of February to the
first of May. and at the time re
questing buyers to refrain .from
buying hens during that time.
The poultry knd egg section of
the United States food administra
tion feels that this is a highly de
sirable move and requests your
hearty co-operation in seeing that
the best possible results are secur.-'
ed.
Every hen which ts sold before
the first of May represents a food
loss to the nation of about thirty
eggs. The total loss of eggs rep
resented by the customary selling of
hens between the first of February
and the first Of May amounts to
'about 150,000,OOP eggs. The value
of these eggs is about 80 per cent
of what the hen is actually worth,
so that this program does not entail
a loss to the farmer, but an actual
gain. '
We hope that you will give full
publicity to this program since it
is of interest to producacs and deal

Save Your Hair! Make it Thick.
Wavy and ItewuOfnl—
Try This.
Thin, brittle, colorless and scrag
gy hair is mute evidence of a neg
lected scalp; dandruff—that awfu
scurf.
There it nothing so destructive to
the hair as dandruff. ' It robs the
hair of its lustre, its strength and
its very life; eventually producing
a feverishness and itching of the
scalp, which if not remedied causes
the hair roots to shrink, loosen and
die—then the hair falls out fast. A
little Danderine tonight—now—any
time—will surely save your hair.
Get a small bottle of Knowlton’s
Danderine from any drug store or
toilet counter, anf after the Irst
application your hair will take on
that life, lustre and luxuriance
which is so beautiful. It will be
come waxy and fluffy and have the
appearance of abundance, an infiom-
parable 1 gloss and softness: but
what will please you most will bo
after Just a few week's use. when
you will actually see a lot of fine,
downy hair—new hair—growing all
over the scalp.
