We have considered ail mat ters handed us by the ftfflcers of the Court, and disposed of all the bills which came before us. • The committee on' roads- and bridges;, wish to call the attention of the highway commissioner that the Stokes bridge over the, Kdisto river needs slight repairs and the road from Cottagevllle to Jaekson- boro and from Cottagevllle to Giv- hans need worked badly^ in somd places, and also, that the'Patterson bridge near Yemassee is in a dan gerous condition and needs atten- . tion at v once. Also, the bridge at Petits over Black Creek needs re pairs, and glso the road leading from Pendergrast Cross ifeads .to Parkers Perry for about twelve miles needs attention.. The pro^ gress made by the new highway commissioner on the roptfs Is very satisfactory and we are pleased to state that, the work is going on satisfactory, and that the highway commissioner deserves the commen dation and the support of the enttre public.
