His | b<>dv w as taken to Pritehardvllle j for interment, which wa* the home, of his wife, a daughter of Henryj DuRois. of that place. Mr. Brolan*! j was born Oct. f*. 18il. and was married to Miss Nora Hu Hois, Dec. 12. 18J»6. Since then they have lived in Savannah. Of this union five children were born, of whom only two’ survive, one son and a daughter.' The deceased Is surviv ed by his widow, and by foor broth ers and four sisters, he being the youngest of thfrteen children. Among, those who survive are Miss Hattie Breland, of Ruffin; I). B. Breland, of Ruffin, and J. J. Bre-* land, of Ashton. Mr. Breland was a consistent member of the Metho dist church, and a loyal Mason. He was a good man. and lived a life of service for others. DEATH OF INFANT The seven months old son. Mar ion. of .Mr. and Mrs.-Melvin Hiott, of Round, died Tuesday. June - 12. and was buried at Hedon’s cemetery Wednesday morning. the funeral services l»eing conducted by Rev. .1. •M 1 Craven, in the 1 ' presence of a goodie number of relatives and friends. The little boy was sick about three weeks of fever and nth- erf troubles.
