The banks of the county are very
busy just now securing subscribers-

to be a great deal of interest in
the matter and it is thought there*
will be no trouble ‘to place a suffi

this county up to where it should
be. The Bank of Smoaks. through
its president, W, Henry Varn. is
very much interested and will sub

This he did. and to his surprise re

this county J5R per cent. This will
mean in round numbers a reduction
of the property values in this coun

Jones draws is that the returns for
this county on horses and mules is
at a higher per cent than that of
other counties, or the State av

Mr. Jones is also worried over
the matter as his work is tied up
and he will be delayed in getting off

little left of vegetation. From re
