Liston, of near Smoaks. died Med-
nesday duorning about 8:3o o'clhCK.
He had 'only Hfett 111 for a Tew dayv,
and tii> death came as a great shock
to his many friends. MC. Liston
wa*- just entering manhood, being
only 19 years of age. and was a
young man of exceeding promise.
He was a student of Clenison Col
lege. but had benn at -• home for
some time.
The funytal services were hell
Thursday at the home, after which
the bo^ was laid to rest in the fanK
ily burying grounds. Besides his
parents he leaves one brother and
one sister.to mourn his death. Rev.
K. F. Scroggins. pastor of the
Green Pond church, conducted the
services in the presence of a large
number of relatives and friends.
