the invited speakers.
The exercises consisted of devo
tional services conducted by Rev
Walter Black, and an -address be
fore dinner by Rev. J. P, Graham,
of Walterboro. Mr. Graham made
a very eloquent memorial address
which was entertaining and in

Keeping Yourself W!
THE FIRST STEP
Usually the first indication of a
towering of health is found in tbe
bowels and liver. Something goes
wrong—vc eat too much, or work
too hard—and the bowel action
weakens or the liver is sluggish.
That heavy feeling on arising in
the morning, dryness of the
throat, with bad taste, a slight
headache, dull eyes—all show that
food has fermented in the intes
tines. and that tbe body is man
ufacturing poisons instead of
good blood.
Clear it all out. Give the
stomach and bowls a fresh start
Encourage the liver to go to
work. Manalin does all of this,
without griping or weakening.
It’s the ideal laxative and liver
tonic, because it follows Nature’s
plan, without discomfort, inflam
mation or forming a habit Con
stipation may be overcome with
its use.

Weaver Upright Grand Piano
THE WORLD’S BEST UPRIGHT PIANO
‘The manner in which you have combined great
power with the peculiar delicacy of tone in your Weaver
Pianos leads me to feel that you have established a new
high standard of excellence in Twentieth Centum pian >
making. You have indeed a great piano./ Wishing you
all the success your piano deserves on account of it<
superior qualities, I am,
“Yours respectfully,
“MARIE STODDART.”
M iss Stoddart became familiar with the Weaver Piano through its use in th •
New' York studio of Mr. Walter R. Anderson, manager of high class musical artists,
at 171 W. 57th St., New’ York. Mr. Anderson himself wrote to the manufacturers of
■. ^ 4 • y /
the Weaver Piano in York, Pa., as follows.
“It gives me great pleasure to express in writing my appreciation of the excel
lent qualities of your piano. It seems to be the concensus of opinion of the many prom
inent musical directors and others who o,?me in contact with the piano at my office
that it is ab-HiL the best upright piano that is made, combining, as it does, all the pow
er and volume of a great piano. 1 congratulate you on your success.”
