i The death angel visited the horn.-’
of Mr.and Mrs.C.P,.Clayton, near
Khfhardt. on 'Tuesday—morning of
-'last week and took from it the be
loved husband and father.
He had been seriously U| for some
time, but for several weeks before
bis death he had been sitting up.
i Mr.Clayton was a veteran in the
War Between the Btates. and served
hi 8 country*well. .
| He had b*en a membef" of the
Khrhardt Baptist Church' since ith
recent erection, and was an excellent
church worker. ^
! He was in his seventy-fifth .year,
.and leaves a wife and five children
to mourn bis death. The children oi

Zeigler, and Mamie Bickle,.of near
Ehrhardt: Messrs O.B. and Laurie
Clayton, of near Ehrhardt, and Mr.
