. • FACE EIGHT THE PRESS AND STANDARD Wednesday, September 20, 1910 i Farmers AN INVITATION FROM Merchants STOP t -•LOOK !• LISTEN For the convenience of the public we have installed m the lobby of'bur bank a bulletin board, and we want every one to use it—first because it is free, and second because it is our pleasure to serve you. All personalcalls, all phone calls and all letters will be given special attention. In a nut shell, it is free advertising at our expense. So let youb “wants,” “for sale” and • “f&r rent,” or anything else come in at once and we will at once put it on the bulletin board and let the public know what you have for sale or otherwise. The bulletin boa,rd will have the following columns: Cotton Market and Cotton Seed Market for the day; Want Column, For Sale Column, for Rent Column. See if you can’t let us have an item under one of these heads at once. Remember it is for everybody in Colleton County. It will be our object to try and rent your house for you, sell your sur plus hay, peas, chickens, milch cow or anything. We want you to come and see us and let us explain this more fully. Remem ber this is not only for our customers, but the public. In introducing this new feature in our bank we will call your special at tention to our statement below, and to the wonderful increase in our deposits and resources. # Remember we have a general department for checking accounts. We have a saving department, and pay special atten tion to all accounts, both large and small. We also have a ladies department where the ladies can transact their business pri vately. We keep all valuable papers for our friends free of charge, and we cash all drafts on any point in the United States free of exchange when deposited. A little later on we expect to have an agricultural exhibit in the lobby of our bank, which will continually exhibit farm products. A.H we ask for is co-operation. Respectfully, I. M.
