The li-v of books and magazines
will be small at first, and we ask

This room is not for any indi
vidual. but for YOU. It is . for the
people of this city and the travel
ling men and the visitors. This <s
one of the very few cities in the en
tire country that has not a room of
this kiad. whers a person can pass
several honrs pleasantly and eom-

the association would be at 'Walter
boro, therefore the secretary has
opened his office at that place. Miss
Luella C. Lawton, of Estill. has
bees selected as stenographe.- -and
has commenced her work. One
room of the offices has been set
aside for the benefit of the public at
large, especially, for the tra'eling
men and those waiting on trains
This room will be furnished and
reading room maintained, furnish
ing an excellent place for recrea
tion. When you are in Walterboro
let them be your. headnuarters, for
they are the property of the mem
hers of the association.
