Joseph's sanitarium, Savannah. Mrs. Beach came o n to Walterboro Thursday to visit friends. She returned Tues day afternoon accompanied by her : sister, Mrs. Walker who will remain with her daughter till she is well enough to bring her home. o • R. B. Benton Will ^ Move to Orangeburg. The examinations for scholarships to the State institutions were held Friday of last week and the Friday previous. Wlnthrop College ex amination was held Friday, July 7 and there were 11 applicants for the vacancies.
