Get The Habit and Buy
* The class session last Sunday af
ternoon was wrell attended, notwith
standing the inclement weather. Of
the 20 present. 24 had studied the
lesson, which brought us 20b points.
The offering. $2.50. w|U be added to
the find for the care of a patient at
the EsDorn Infirmary, *’Two new
members were added to the
roll on last Sunday: Messrs,
den and Knight. Total points
405.
If our class is to he the winner in
this contest with Cottageville each
member must get busy and do some
effective work: first, by attendance,
with a prepared lesson; second, by
securing new members and looking
aftey the absentee^. If -you study
the lesson and stay at home that
will not help (he class one bit.
In the absence of the teacher the
class was taught by J. M. Moorer,
Esq., in a most entertaining manner.
As a part of the lesson Mr. Moorer
gave to the class William Jennings
Bryan’s ‘'Immortality of the Soul.”
which Mr. Moorer had taken from
his Victrola record. *
