Pate’s fol^the purpose of enjoying a "tacky party.” This home was decorated very beautiful ly. ihdeed. the color scheme being green and white. Quite a large number were present and all were dressed to suit the occasion. Miss Ruth Garris, of.Williams, won the prize for being the tackiest girl present. Ernest Troutman won the prize for being the tackiest man there. They sang some of their many beautiful songs. At 11:30 o'clock the guests were called into the din ing room for refreshments.
