Brilliant Reception
At Ritter Last Week
Principal among the social events
of the spring was the reception last
Wednesday evening by Mr. and Mrs.
Paul Sanders of Ritterj at. arhieh Mr.
and Krfk. A. C. Sanders. Jr., were
the guests of honor. XrT and Mrs.
A. t. Sanders, Jr., have just return
ed from their bridal tour to Cuba.
Florida and the Gulf States and are
now at home at Ritter, where Mr.
Sanders holds gn important official
position with the Colleton Mercan
tile and Manufacturing Company of
that place.. The reception was one of
the moat enjoyable affairs and was
held at ..the beautiful country bom**
of Mr. and Mrs. Sanders, noted here
for its hospitality and enjoyable en
tertainments.
* The decorations of the house were
beautiful, wild flowers being used
in great profusion, and so selected as
to carry out the color scheme of the
different room*. In the reception
hall, where the guests were welcom
ed by Mr. and Mrs. E.-L. Lemacks
and Mr. and Mrs. C. Sanders, spring
flowers were used in ma«s. giving a
handsome effect. The parlors and
music room were combined and Mr.
