Now he ds most generally khown as "Doctor” Har ley d,own here and some of our folks never knew that he was a "Rever end” until they asw his article in your last isaue. But he is known far and near as "Dr.” because he compounds a liquid with roots ami herbs In it. and sells It as a roedl cine. He has a pretty considerable trade among the colored people and as its chief constituency consists of alcohol, it has a very marked affect upon those who use it. a ’ His. process, 1 believe.
