Missionay Society of 'the* Methodist
church on'Thursday afternoon, the

unanimous consent, (appointed a
committee to .express their senti
ments in the following resolutions:
Whereas. Miss Ida M. Fishburno.
nresident of the Woman’s Missionary
Society of the Bethel Methodist
church, expects to be absent several
mouths pursuing special work along
her chosen line.
Whereas this absence necessitates
her resigning the presidency of one
-ociety, and
Whereas, the present date. Aug
ust 19, is the last occasion on which
she Will be with us as our president
before leaving. __ ,
Therefore, be it resolved: /That
the society express its grateful ap
preciation of the efficient services
of Miss Fishbume as president, of
the inspiration which her enthusi
asm and zeal has infused into each
individual member.-and of the ’ex

devotion to duty.
