Wednesday night he had a good-siz ed congregation and during the pro gress of the service* there was some disturbance inside the church to ward the rear. He flopped preach. >ng and asked if anyone were sick, or what was the matter. The 'dis turbance was kept up. it is said, af ter this question by the minister. He did not shout, but shook the bench and made some nooise and created some disturbance by gesticulating. At the cencluaion of the services the matter was made more tense bj a visitation of the “power” on two or three others, who began to speak 1ft “tongues.” Finally they were put out of the church, or rather es corted to the door and told to get ©ut by ihembers of the Ever greet church. . Feeling outraged. II. M. K. SHU, a prominent member of the (’hrls- tlan church, came before Magistrate - Bryan and swore out n warrant for four of the "Holy RoU*rn.” charg ing them with disturbing n religions worship and creatlng^a disturbance. Those so charged were Robert Hlott. Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Iliolt. and Paul Herndon. The trial came off last Thursday afternoon and v as held at the Court House. Facts in accordance with the ^vglipve statement were .brought out by a number of witm».M*t on i.olh sides. Robert Hloit testifed that ho wan guilty of cheating som** dls- turbairter-tmt claimed that It was because of the power of God and that he could not help dolus what he did. During the testimony of Mrr.
