see that the work Is carried out as
per specifications. Just when this

it is hoped by the commissioners
that they can begin within the next
few weeks.

P. J. Garris, Sr., ent n rtained at
wedding dinner* a number of
friends and relatives at their bom?
on Wednesday evening at f o'clock
in honor of their son Clemson. and
bis bride elect Miss Gertrude Berry.
The tables were so arranged that
all of the visitors could be seated at
once. This made the affairs very
pleasant. Carnations and ferns were
used mainly in decoration. The
dinner was served in courses, and
was very much enjoyed by all.
Shortly after dinner the wedding
party made at trip to the Smoaks
Hall, where they rehearsed for the
coming event.
