deavoring to get at the very bottom
of some of the things which have ail
those years been hindering the pro
gress of tho town and county. The
Civic League has this Summer work
ed hand in hand with the town
toard of health tn attempting to
eliminate fly which Is such a sprea
der of disease. Ten members of
the Civic League have instituted the
dans for the general improvement
of the town along the line of beauty
but more especially from a stand
point of sanitation.
The league has planned and will

.during the county fair which will
be held hfffe next week. This wld
mean much toward helping the
