people of Colleton county, in addi
tion to the homage she will receive
as "Queen of the Fair.” A Anal
word as to the last detail of the
contest. The 'voting ;wili conclude
at the Fair Grounds on Tuesday,
November 3, the first day of the
Fair. A big ballot box, large
enough to hold any number of votes
will be placed just inside the Fair,
ground:- in a conspirious place and
the voting will continue until 10 P.
M. Votes will be sold at the bal
lot box at the rate of one-half cent
for each vote purchased.- Publica
tion of votes cn a bulletin board pro-
ided for the purpose will be made
.it |intervals during the .closing
hours of the contest. It is requested
that all the active candidates dn
the Queen Contest remain in the
city Tuesday night, Noveniber 3,
in order that the winner, whoever
^fce may be, may be notified early
Wednesday morning in * in time for
participation in the Floral Parade.
