The following is th program of the track H-.tnr.;; PROGRAM track fa ents. .. 1. luj-yard dash, individual boy maKlng 1 >«» yards in shortest ti:u«*. 2. One-fourth mile race, individual boy making one-fourth;mile la shortest time. y • 3. Relay raie.-mile, requiring team of 4 boys from each school compet ing. One boy from each s hocl will start the race, run one-fourth mile and be reliered by another boy from- the same school, and so on until a mile is ruir. At the end of the last one-foujyh mile, the h chool with bo>* leading will be declared the winner. In this race all boys, competing must wear some kind of sign with nano of the school he represents wriAen or printed therieon.. „ , , v y. 4. Running broad jump. Individual boy from a running start jump ing farthest distance will be winner Contestants making jump must fall forward for the nearest point of lontact of the body, feet or hands to the starting point will be mark ma*fe by jumper 5. Standing broad jump. Same rules as No. 4 except jumpers must jump from a stationary position. ■ i 6. Running high jump. Bey from a running start jumping over \ barrier highest in the air 7. A teaniof girls from different schools will compete in drill before grandstand. Only otoe team from each school allowed. 12. School drill for girls under 12 years of age. Same as No. 11. Each school can enter two boys in all running and jumping evenly except the relay race, where, only one* team from each school will be en tered' In all Jumping events every contestant will be allowed two trials.
