The primary election held yesterday was featured by order-
lir.ees throughout Colleton county.
We are publishing elsewhere a tabulation of th.-' vote !or
county officers as complete as we have been able to secure. The
returns for Magistrate and Township Commissioner from the
various townships are *o vague and indefinite as to render any

from the district indicate the election of Whaley.
Colonel J. G. Padgett is elected State Senator by a vote of U>8V ;;;
