closed his nastorate at Allendale and
was removed to Walterboro where
he had already had considerable suc
cess. having «added about 60 new
names jto the church roll. Walter
boro has a atrong Methodist church.
On the official board are found such
men as J. G. Padgett, the late candi
date for Congress; J. E. Peurlfoy, so
licitor; M. H. Howell, son-in-law of
Judge Gage, and a number of strong
busness men. Dr. Wolling goes from
here to Allendale to meet a special
engagement Sunday.”
